When Jesus sent out his disciples, his instructions were, “Go, and make disciples of all peoples”. And that’s still what the church is about today, it’s what Ingleton Evangelical Church is about – making disciples.
But what’s a disciple?
A disciple is simply a follower of Jesus – a Christian – someone who has come to know God through faith in Jesus.
So we’re all about introducing people to Jesus – who he is, why he came, and why it matters. We believe that that’s a job that God has given to the Church.
And we’re also all about helping one another to become closer followers of Jesus. God has placed Christians in churches because he knows that disciples can’t grow without help from one another.
